“Cooking is like love.  It should be entered into with abandon
or not at all.” ~ Harriet Van Horne

Some recipes are remembered; Some concocted and created from a bag of flour and hope; and some are brand new from a book, magazine, friend, or TV show. This is where I’ll collate and create – where I’ll share vaguely remembered dishes and throw out brand new ones.

My container garden this year on my deck, where I grew ghost, banana, cayenne, and jalapeño peppers, tomatoes (red and yellow), elder flowers/berries (to be transplanted next year), olives, blackberries, raspberries, and avocado. Started a small garden at the edge of the lawn, too – where I grew potatoes, pumpkins, acorn squash, edamame, corn, kale, asparagus, spinach, garlic, and onions.
