先生 I visited Maggie 先生 today to catch up with some long overdue Japanese studying, and I came across a post regarding “ヤバい” – slang. I feel that as an intermediate (barely, lol) student of Japanese and a beginner in Korean this is something that’s very important. It’s so easy to make a mistake and [...] It’s snowing here–and the roads are crazy! There were a lot of crashes this morning. People forget how to drive as soon as the first flakes fall. However, it was especially bad today since the roadway was untreated and the half-melted snow was refreezing super fast (especially on the bridges!) I almost wiped out several [...] Things have been super crazy–hence the lack of blog posting! I pimped out Maggie Sensei this week and had some good feedback about that (and several questions about why I’m pitching someone else’s site and not my own!! I just think it’s a really good place to start, continue, or end! LOL). Anyway, back to business. I posted a question regarding how to thank a professor, for example (on the Maggie Sensei site) and got an amazingly in depth reply. It’s certainly VERY helpful.
