Another Wondergirls?

Because obviously the first isn’t enough~! JYP Entertainment has started auditioning for their new girl group set to debut in May. They will open the audition online until 1st April and the final selection will take place on 4th April.

They are selecting candidates born between 1987 and 1996 for this audition.

A JYP rep said, “If you dream to be the WonderGirls, come and take up the challenge. There is chance that you will be part of the new girl group planned to debut in May.”

YeEun of the current WonderGirls, who are promoting in the States, was chosen to be part of the original WonderGirls via such an open audition.

Personally, I think it’s insane. We don’t NEED another wonder-group … we already have one. Or two. Or three. Are they trying to phase out the current girls? Replacing them with younger versions? I am actually starting to get tired of Korean music. I liked Wondergirls… briefly. Along with 2NE1 and Kara. Now? I don’t know. The songs are all sounding the same. I did like Big Bang, 2PM, 2AM and CN Blue. With a little Super Junior thrown in there. I don’t really like any of them so much right now. The most recent BB song–Lollipop 2–is a let down. I really don’t like it.

Ah well, let’s see what this brings…
