Last night was extremely interesting. We went to a TaeKwonDo class where 교수님 is a student. Master Charles Bayersdoerfer taught us punching and kicking and some basic self-defence.

It was an amazing experience and one I wish I could continue. Perhaps in the new year…
Here is a video of Master Beyersdoerfer at Hanmadang 2008:
He is a really nice person to talk to also. After class we headed to Korea House for dinner. I chose dolsot bibimbap (which comes in a sizzling hot bowl). It was YUMMY! My husband had kolbi (ribs) and my son had kimbap! (Which he ate all to himself!)

We hung out and talked for a long time. Master Beyersdoerfer told us how he got started in TaeKwonDo and talked about different fighting styles etc. It was really interesting. Our waiter, who was really nice, looked a LOT like Rain!! Haha. He was really sweet though and did his best to help us all out.

Here we all are after eating ^^; It was really a lot of fun. Sorry about the bad photo–but my built-in camera flash doesn’t work on my Rebel anymore and I’m not sure how to fix it. The external flash I have is SUPER bright (and I forgot it)… so this is the best I could do without bleaching and editing it to the point of it becoming unrecognizable!
