And all the hip kids want them. There have been fights at Toys R Us and Walmart, and they’re being offered on Amazon.com at a 300% mark-up.

Call me old, but I just don’t get it. I didn’t get furbys either. LOL. I guess these guys are like real hamsters (they even drive cars!!) except for when they ‘die’ you just replace the batteries (and not the hamster). Still, we won’t be having any zhu zhu’s here (though I’m sure our cats would love them!) I really don’t know what we’re going to do about Christmas. It’s been very tough economically for us this year-so our “toy budget” is pretty small…
Phoenix’s wishes include an HD video camera (…. *silence* …. ) and rock band instruments. If I had the money I’d probably get a wii with rockband. ha. That would be funny!!! I actually can’t believe how cheap wii’s are this year ($199) compared to last year or the year before. They’ve also got SO MUCH stuff for them these days too.
